For this sample, I warped 2 threads at one time on the warp board. I decided to make it 48 threads per stripe, so I went around the warp board 24 times. With an epi of 30, it will be about an inch and a half per stripe. One set of colors are being threaded on shafts 1-2-3-4 and the other color is being threaded on shafts 5-6-7-8. I am trying to alternate between lights and darks on each layer. This is just a sample, so I have 4 colors on each layer to experiment with. I made this practice warp 2.5 yards long, so I can weave through it and see how long that will probably weave to. I can't decide between a 2.5 yard warp and a 3 yard warp.
